Convert Registration
As UYA yoga teachers and schools community is growing day by day from around the world, Our Standards system had established Certified Yoga School – CYS 200, CYS 500 on January 2018. The minimally-required training is 200 hours training standards that certify anyone as a yoga teacher.
In Jan 2020 we were more focused on reinforcement for well-trained teachers which were the pathway to offers acknowledge framework to generate professional growth in future. In March 2020 we launched our new Standards system CYS 200 Plus, CYS 500 Plus. We created these new Standards for provide additional functionality to all UYA members and non-members, yoga teachers, practitioners and schools community.
Therefore, we think of yoga ethics and relationship with fellow yoga organizations and yoga universities across India as cooperation to maintain very high standards of the yoga system. We believe that we can build up a great industry in harmony with other yoga organizations because we believe in the unity of yoga.
So, if you have already completed any Yoga Teacher Training Course with any Non-UYA school or you are currently a member of any other organization, you can get a membership with “Universal Yoga Alliance” right away.
How to Convert Registration?
1st step: SUBMIT THE APPLICATIONPlease, complete your online application form and submit with any other required documents.

After you submit your application we will review all your documents and information. If you are eligible, we will send you a confirmation letter.
3rd Step: APPLICATION FEEThere is a nominal fee required to convert your registration into “Universal Yoga Alliance” Organization with everlasting benefits. After you register with us you can use our trademark, copyright logos, and all benefits as other member yoga schools or teachers

- Convert Registration into UYA as an Individual Yoga Teacher (CYT)
- Convert Registration as a Yoga School and Yoga Teacher (both) CYS, CYT
- Application form with complete documents
- Only Yoga School / Studio / Center / Institution owners can apply.
- Applicant must be a currently or formerly registered legal member with Yoga Alliance U.S.A, Yoga Alliance UK, Yoga Alliance Canada, European Yoga Alliance, Yoga Alliance Australia, Yoga Alliance International, Yoga Alliance India, World Yoga Alliance, International Yoga Federation or a similar recognized organization.
- Copy of the registered member certificate or registration ID number from another yoga organization is also required.
- Applicant must be a currently or formerly registered legal member with Yoga Alliance U.S.A, Yoga Alliance UK, Yoga Alliance Canada, European Yoga Alliance, Yoga Alliance Australia, Yoga Alliance International, Yoga Alliance India, International Yoga Federation or a similar recognized organization.
- Copy of the registered member certificate from other yoga organizations is required.
This is a non-refundable application fee with a one-time registration fee. We don’t take any annual renewal fees. However, members must get in touch with UYA Admin Team every year to renew and update their status, otherwise, their ID number might expire.

Universal Yoga Alliance will convert your registration into the same level as your registration with any other Yoga Alliance organization, and you will get all the benefits just as the rest of our members.
